What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of the platform including API gateway, metering, and billing integration.
• Hire, organize, and lead a cross-functional team of approximately eight engineers.
• Manage sprint planning, delivery cadences, and release management.
• Make technical decisions in partnership with the Principal Engineer and contribute directly to the codebase.
• Partner with Product Management to translate specifications into delivered software.
• Coordinate developer support and ensure compliance with security and deployment standards.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with several years in a management or leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience delivering commercial SaaS or API platform products end to end.
• Hands-on technical credibility with experience in cloud infrastructure, API gateways, OAuth, and event-driven architectures.
• Strong delivery discipline with experience in sprint planning and release management.
• Proven ability to hire and build high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional stakeholder management.
