What you will do

• Lead a team of backend engineers through the full software lifecycle from design to production.
• Set architectural direction for loan origination, compliance, and pricing systems.
• Partner with Product Managers to plan roadmaps and prioritize delivery.
• Foster a DevOps culture emphasizing infrastructure as code, observability, and automated testing.
• Mentor and grow team members through servant leadership.
• Ensure high-quality software delivery in a high-scale, event-driven environment.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK or Europe within UTC -1 to UTC +3 time zones.
• Strong hands-on background in C#/.NET backend development.
• Proven experience with major cloud providers like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Solid understanding of event-driven architecture and microservice development.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers in a collaborative environment.
• Ability to shape roadmaps and drive delivery in partnership with Product teams.
