Senior Manager, MES & Manufacturing IT (Manufacturing)

Location: Must be based in Mesa, Arizona (On-site)

What you will do

• Lead the selection and end-to-end implementation of the site-level MES platform from design through go-live.
• Design and maintain site network infrastructure including IT/OT segmentation, firewalls, and industrial wireless.
• Manage shop floor systems integration including barcode scanners, PLCs, and test station connectivity.
• Oversee day-to-day IT operations, including local helpdesk support, ticket management, and on-floor troubleshooting.
• Partner with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality teams to support NPI ramps, traceability, and audit readiness.
• Ensure cybersecurity posture for OT systems in alignment with corporate standards.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in IT roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of owning at least one full MES implementation from commissioning to steady-state.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Hands-on experience with modern MES platforms like 42Q, Critical Manufacturing, or Plex.
• Strong knowledge of shop floor integration (barcode/RFID, PLC connectivity, OPC-UA/MQTT).
• Solid networking fundamentals (VLANs, IT/OT segmentation, industrial wireless).

Nice to have

• Experience in discrete electronics or power electronics assembly.
• Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP integration.
• ITIL or PMP certification.
• Cybersecurity background relevant to OT environments (IEC 62443).
