IT Manager III - IT Common Services (Banking)

Location: Phoenix, AZ, United States; up to 25% travel may be required.

What you will do

• Manage Common Services teams and oversee approximately 10 key applications, including job scheduling, file exchange, SFTP, messaging, email, logging, reporting, and event management platforms.
• Lead complex projects by establishing milestones, communicating timelines, managing dependencies, and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Provide technical leadership to engineering teams while ensuring compliance with engineering standards, security requirements, and enterprise architecture principles.
• Own foundational banking services supporting customer reconciliation, statements, reporting, and mission-critical money movement processes.
• Coordinate production deployments, releases, and cutovers with minimal risk or disruption to business and customer services.
• Drive operational excellence through governance, resiliency testing, disaster recovery readiness, automation, mentoring, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 7+ years of related experience in IT application support, development, networking, or a similar field.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Previous leadership experience and intermediate to advanced experience managing technology teams.
• Knowledge of financial services or banking, regulatory and legal compliance obligations, industry standards, and practices.
• Experience managing KPIs and timelines, analyzing data, preparing reports, and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
