Senior Project Manager (Automation)

Location: Middleton, Wisconsin, USA; up to 25% travel required.

What you will do

• Manage machine-build projects across departments from concept through completion.
• Support applications and sales with specifications, concepting, estimating, and technical presentations.
• Ensure electrical and mechanical engineering designs meet project specifications and approved concepts.
• Monitor project progress, schedules, specifications, risks, budgets, and forecasts.
• Facilitate project teams and customer communication to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Coordinate project checkout, closure, service, accounting, and team member onboarding and mentorship.

Requirements

• Two-year post-high-school technical training; a BS or BA degree is preferred.
• 4–6 years of project management experience.
• 4–6 years of manufacturing and scheduling experience preferred.
• Strong planning, organization, prioritization, analytical, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, interpret data, take ownership, and support continuous improvement.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills and understanding of business operations and industry practices.
