What you will do

• Develop design, fabrication, and installation documentation for custom equipment.
• Specify and purchase equipment while adhering to financial budgets.
• Oversee equipment fabrication and installation processes.
• Create custom designs for manufacturing and packaging systems, including robotic integration.
• Collaborate with project teams and customers to ensure project alignment and repeat business.
• Drive technical issues to completion for both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Green Bay, WI.
• Minimum associate’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent internship experience.
• Proficiency in 3D design software, specifically Autodesk Inventor and Solid Edge.
• Experience creating detailed design/fabrication drawing packages and BOMs.
• Understanding of mechanical tolerances, stack-ups, and design for manufacturability (DFM).
• Ability to travel up to 25% for customer startups, including extended hours and long-distance travel.

Nice to have

• Experience in fluid power design, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Up to 2 years of experience in mechanical design of custom manufacturing equipment.
