What you will do

• Plan and conduct the evaluation and substantial adaptation of standard and nonstandard engineering techniques and criteria.
• Devise new approaches for complex problems and coordinate work for major engineering projects.
• Develop new product requirements through direct consultation with customers and sales personnel.
• Validate conceptual solutions by performing comprehensive trade studies and technical analyses.
• Lead design proposal teams in preparing designs, estimating costs, and writing technical volumes.
• Conduct specialized research and create reliable designs via experimental development test programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s Degree preferred).
• At least 10 years of related professional experience.
• Proven expertise in statics, dynamics, hydraulics, and electro-mechanical systems.
• Advanced knowledge of stress, fatigue, and performance analysis.
• Proficiency with rotating machinery, FEA (Finite Element Analysis), and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) tools.
• Must be eligible to access U.S. export-controlled information.
