What you will do

• Lead mechanical design projects from initial concept through to construction phase.
• Perform detailed mechanical design for large-scale HVAC, plumbing, and process systems.
• Develop technical specifications, contract documents, and manage the bidding process.
• Coordinate designs using 3D modeling tools like Revit and Navisworks.
• Provide construction administration, including field inspections and RFI responses.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers to foster technical excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 6-10 years of mechanical design experience specifically in building systems.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Proficiency in HVAC systems, pumps, piping, valves, and controls.
• Experience with load calculation and energy modeling software.
• Knowledge of construction codes, means, and methods.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with HAP HVAC modeling.
• LEED AP or other sustainability credentials.
• Experience managing single or multi-disciplinary projects.
• Familiarity with Point Cloud and 3D scanning tools.
