Maintenance Tech I - Meridian (Manufacturing)

Location: 420 W Franklin Ave, Meridian, Idaho, United States; onsite work in a continuous manufacturing operation with 12-hour shifts.

What you will do

• Perform basic plant maintenance, repair, and installation tasks.
• Repair and maintain machinery, mechanical systems, electrical equipment, motors, controls, belts, rolls, and rollers.
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and diagnose faults in AC and DC motors and controls.
• Inspect, test, and operate machinery before releasing it to manufacturing.
• Use hand and power tools, electrical meters, meggers, and material-handling equipment.
• Report defective materials, faulty operations, and unusual conditions while following site safety guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a craft apprenticeship or craft training program.
• Knowledge of mechanical maintenance methods, tools, materials, and production equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and operate light and heavy equipment.
• Ability to consistently lift and move up to 60 pounds, with heavier lifting required at times.
