What you will do

• Perform basic plant maintenance, repair, and installation tasks on production machinery.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment breakdowns, including AC/DC motors and controls.
• Inspect and test machinery to ensure safety and performance before releasing to manufacturing.
• Replace electrical components, belts, and defective parts as needed.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment for daily maintenance.
• Report faulty operations and unusual situations to supervision.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a craft apprenticeship or relevant craft training program.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
• Proficiency with electrical testing equipment such as meters and meggers.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a continuous manufacturing operation.
• Physical ability to lift and move objects up to 60 pounds consistently.
