What you will do

• Develop and design package concepts for customer control components.
• Initiate and conduct Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
• Prepare and track Engineering Change Work Orders for documentation and design updates.
• Present design alternatives to management to facilitate decision-making.
• Develop and track validation test plans to ensure component reliability.
• Coordinate component design with vehicle changes and resolve manufacturing or field issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship (GM does not provide immigration support).
• Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle on a daily basis.
• Proven experience with design release systems, manufacturing processes, and vehicle validation.
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities in a fast-paced environment.
