What you will do

• Conceive and develop practical product design applications using complex technical principles.
• Lead and coordinate design, analysis, and computer simulation efforts for engineering projects.
• Act as a development team leader, interacting with plant locations and engineering departments.
• Evaluate, define, and resolve complex design and manufacturing problems.
• Coordinate product tests, prototype builds, and field evaluations.
• Stay updated on technological advancements to develop unique, patentable design features.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Engine, or Automobile engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering work experience.
• Fluency in English (oral and written) is mandatory.
• Technical expertise in engine product development methodologies (APQP, QFD, FMEA, DVP&R).
• Ability to work onsite five days a week in Wuxi.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Technical knowledge of diesel engine core system components.
• Experience with Lean or 6 Sigma methodologies.
• Demonstrated project management and problem-solving skills.
