What you will do

• Conduct non-linear, structural finite element analysis of drivetrain systems and components.
• Perform random vibration, impact, and acoustic analyses for axle products.
• Interpret simulation results and present technical recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product, Advanced, Mechatronics, and Design teams to execute product analysis.
• Support the development of simulation procedures, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• BSME required; MSME with emphasis in Mechanical Design or Analysis preferred.
• Strong computer skills with demonstrated programming and Python scripting experience.
• Experience with Hypermesh or Abaqus CAE preferred.
• Knowledge of feSafe or other fatigue analysis codes preferred.
• Automotive or related industry experience, including university CO-OP experience, strongly preferred.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
