What you will do

• Manage and mentor a team of approximately 5 engineers, overseeing design activities and performance reviews.
• Lead the end-to-end harness release process, including change control, configuration management, and integration of electrical changes.
• Create and manage schematics for E/E component integration, including high/low voltage and communication network designs.
• Facilitate design reviews and lead DFMEA to identify risks and reduce potential failure modes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet regulatory standards, manufacturability, and serviceability requirements.
• Perform complex troubleshooting and provide technical expertise for root-cause analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience within the Engineering industry.
• Proven experience in automotive and/or heavy-duty vehicle design.
• Demonstrated experience leading a successful team of engineers.
• Significant experience with Zuken E3 or equivalent ECAD for schematics and harness design.
• Expertise in electrical power distribution, load calculations, and circuit protection.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAE/USCAR-21 electrical crimp performance standards.
• Experience managing Statements of Work with engineering contractors and vendors.
