IT Support Specialist (Middle)

Location: Must be based in Maryland (Hybrid; 1-2 days per week in the office)

Salary: $75,000–$90,000

What you will do

• Support employee workstations, applications, network services, software, and peripherals.
• Manage and provision new employee hardware including workstations and mobile devices.
• Resolve technical issues through an internal ticketing system to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Maintain documentation and knowledge base articles for internal IT processes.
• Collaborate with regional IT team members on enterprise-wide software and service deployments.
• Provide technical support for network devices, servers, and third-party services.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of direct IT-related work experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 administration and Microsoft client/server OS environments.
• Proficiency in Active Directory (LDAP) and Group Policy concepts.
• Strong IP network troubleshooting skills including WAN/LAN, VPN, and VoIP.
• Experience with asset management and mobile device troubleshooting (iOS/Android).
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in Maryland.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of engineering applications like AutoCAD or Revit.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Citrix.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint and Power BI.
