Maintenance Tech III -Weekend Shift (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Support, build, and maintain production lines, manufacturing cells, and facility equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, PLC-controlled, robotic, and automated equipment.
• Coordinate internal and external resources, vendors, timelines, and projects related to repairs, maintenance, and equipment relocation.
• Provide technical support to project managers, engineers, and other departments as a subject-matter expert.
• Design, fabricate, and weld mechanical structures, guards, and equipment.
• Train and mentor apprentices and maintenance technicians in equipment troubleshooting and repair.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience with equipment and automation in automation, robotics, metal fabrication, paint, or assembly operations.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and experience with complex industrial maintenance issues.
• Advanced knowledge of PLC hardware and programming systems, including the ability to maintain and troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment.
• Advanced welding experience and knowledge of robotics and automation.
• Knowledge of OSHA, Arc Flash, LOTO, NEC, and other industrial maintenance codes and regulations.
• Ability to read drawings, sketches, blueprints, and building schematics; manage maintenance projects; and mentor technicians.
