Maintenance Mechanic (Industrial Equipment)

Location: Delano, California, USA; on-site role. Must be open to off shifts and a rotating 4x10 schedule.

Salary: $29.87–$33.99 per hour, depending on skills and experience.

What you will do

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, repairs, and equipment improvements while supporting safety, food quality, and machine efficiency.
• Install power supply wiring, conduit, cables, and electrical apparatus for robots, conveyors, programmable controllers, and other equipment.
• Diagnose and repair transformers, motors, lighting fixtures, relays, switches, sensing devices, wires, and cables.
• Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic machine components.
• Test malfunctioning machinery, isolate faulty components, and identify input/output distribution and field-device locations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Technical degree and three or more years of related production or manufacturing experience and/or training preferred.
• Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, and schedule-based instructions and communicate effectively with managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Basic mathematics skills, including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, use tools and controls, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Availability for off shifts and a rotating 4x10 schedule. Bilingual ability is preferred but not required.
