Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift

Location: Rushville, Indiana, USA; onsite manufacturing facility

What you will do

• Diagnose machine malfunctions and complete repairs, adjustments, rebuilds, and routine maintenance.
• Install and maintain facility equipment, electrical components, conduit runs, wiring, and terminations.
• Maintain PLCs, CNC control circuits, primary power, control power, AC/DC circuits, motor starters, and switchgear.
• Fabricate minor replacement parts using mills, lathes, grinders, and related shop equipment.
• Support manufacturing processes, complete quality and maintenance documentation, and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Respond to emergency maintenance issues and work on equipment or facilities inside and outside the plant, including rooftops.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience or equivalent work experience and education.
• Proficiency in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical operations, including 480V three-phase systems, control power, AC/DC circuits, motor starters, and switchgear repairs.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, shop mathematics knowledge, blueprint-reading ability, and familiarity with heat and temperature controls.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and elevated areas and operate scissor lifts, boom lifts, and forklifts.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and regularly perform standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching, and other physical activities.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Nice to have

• Associate’s technical degree or equivalent.
• Knowledge of gas-fired burners and boilers.
