Maintenance Technician (Electrical)

Manufactures titanium alloy products for the aerospace, medical, consumer, motorsports, and recreation industries.

What you will do

• Inspect, test, adjust, install, calibrate, lubricate, maintain, dismantle, and clean electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, crane, and rigging systems during machine operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance, daily inspections, and equipment monitoring to reduce downtime and support production.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, sketches, and process flow diagrams to plan and complete repairs.
• Use maintenance systems to research and order parts, and provide technical assistance to engineering on equipment design and improvement.
• Operate mobile equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and scissor lifts while following safety procedures.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited electrical maintenance school.
• At least four years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, including relevant military training, or equivalent related education.
• Ability to read blueprints, operate vehicles, work at heights, and work in varied environmental conditions.
• Working knowledge of programmable controllers, personal computers, AC and DC drive systems, control and measuring devices, hydraulic systems, and test equipment is preferred.
• Ability to meet ANSI fall protection and other workplace safety requirements.
• Associate degree in Electrical Technology or graduation from an acceptable electrical or electronic systems training program is preferred.
