Maintenance Technician (Industrial Maintenance)

What you will do

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and install production, food-processing, and material-handling machinery.
• Maintain electrical systems, control panels, transformers, relays, circuit breakers, starters, switches, and programmable logic controllers.
• Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, refrigeration, HVAC, boiler, water-heating, and water-distribution systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, update maintenance logs, and report major issues.
• Repair building structures and complete general facility maintenance, including painting and minor repairs.
• Support project scheduling, parts inventory, ordering, and energy-use monitoring.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Two or more years of technical school training and/or five or more years of related distribution or manufacturing experience, or a licensed journeyman skilled-trade qualification.
• At least two years of experience as a Maintenance Technician.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Ability to work safely in a production environment and follow OSHA, EPA, and other government guidelines.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of refrigeration, plumbing, welding, hydraulics, and facility maintenance.
