Analog CAD Engineering Specialist (Analog Design)

Location: Mount-Royal, Montreal, Canada

Annual salary: CAD 130,200–241,800, plus potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop CAD tools and provide technical support to analog and mixed-signal circuit design and layout teams.
• Support analog IP design flows, including schematic capture, pre- and post-layout simulation, optimization, layout, and physical verification.
• Perform or support EM/IR, thermal, reliability, and 2.5D/3D IC analysis workflows.
• Use and tailor hirify.global tools such as Virtuoso, Pegasus, and Quantus to improve design efficiency and circuit quality.
• Collaborate with circuit implementation experts and hirify.global engineering teams developing EDA tools and AI capabilities.
• Drive, qualify, and improve tools, methodologies, and AI infrastructure for analog design teams.

Requirements

• BSEE or MSEE in electrical or electronic engineering.
• Previous experience supporting analog CAD for design and layout.
• Strong understanding of circuit design and layout design.
• Excellent communication, presentation, teamwork, and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated, innovative, autonomous, and able to collaborate effectively.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global Composer Schematic, Virtuoso Layout, simulation tools, and physical verification tools.
