What you will do

• Draft, revise, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements, including SaaS and on-premise software licenses.
• Advise on privacy matters and negotiate data processing addenda and security statements.
• Support sales teams globally and optimize commercial functions by seeking efficiencies.
• Provide legal support on European legislative developments such as the EU AI Act, NIS2, DORA, and CRA.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders on strategic projects.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor in Ireland.
• 2+ years PQE in a top UK or Irish law firm or fast-paced in-house legal department.
• Strong experience in contract law and commercial contract negotiations.
• Familiarity with data privacy and security considerations, particularly GDPR.
• Ability to translate complex legal advice into actionable business guidance.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting sales transactions at a SaaS or software provider.
• Familiarity with AI-related legal issues and applications.
• Knowledge of compliance, intellectual property, insurance, or employment law.
