What you will do

• Provide strategic legal counseling to HR and business partners on EMEA employment matters, including hiring and performance management.
• Lead EMEA Global Mobility, managing visa work permits, sponsorship, and Right to Work compliance.
• Ensure compliance with EU employment and labor laws, including the Working Time Directive and GDPR.
• Draft and manage employment contracts, offer letters, and separation agreements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Oversee employment litigation and tribunal proceedings by managing external counsel and defense strategies.
• Support organizational changes, including workforce restructuring (TUPE/ARD) and M&A due diligence.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with a current practicing certificate from the Law Society of Ireland or an equivalent EU jurisdiction.
• 6+ years of substantive post-qualification experience (PQE) in employment law.
• Proven experience in a reputable Irish or international law firm.
• Strong knowledge of EU employment law and its national implementation across EMEA.
• Ability to provide actionable advice to non-lawyer stakeholders.
• Must be based in or able to work in Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid).

• Experience managing immigration legalities and relocation compliance.
• At least one year of in-house experience within a high-growth technology company.
