TL;DR
Expansion Manager (Climatetech): Securing prime real estate locations for a European fast-charging network with an accent on strategic partnerships and network development. Focus on negotiating with landowners and government bodies to expand the EV infrastructure in central and Southern Spain.

Location: Hybrid in Madrid, Spain (Office attendance twice a week required)

What you will do

  • Secure prime real estate in high-traffic areas to establish visible and accessible fast-charging stations.
  • Forge strategic partnerships with landowners, developers, and retailers to expand the network.
  • Implement a comprehensive network development plan for central and Southern Spain.
  • Lead negotiations with private real estate investors and government bodies.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to optimize charging infrastructure and efficiency.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience, with at least 3 years in a relevant commercial role.
  • Strong expertise in commercial real estate, planning, and legal contract management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English.
  • Must be based in Spain and able to visit the Madrid office twice per week.
  • Proven negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within Spain and occasionally across Europe.

Nice to have

  • Existing network of stakeholders in real estate, energy, or e-mobility within Spain.
  • Previous expansion experience specifically in Madrid, Murcia, and Andalucia.
  • Knowledge of urban regulations and experience liaising with public authorities.
  • Fluency in Catalan.
