What you will do

• Perform corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance on inverters, trackers, combiner boxes, and PV modules.
• Execute routine maintenance work, instrumentation calibration, and basic inverter troubleshooting.
• Prepare and implement switching and clearance orders for electrical and mechanical power plant systems.
• Operate utility-scale solar energy plants and associated substations in Southern California.
• Assist with site vegetation management using tractors and riding mowers.
• Develop plant orders, operating instructions, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Experience with electrical systems and familiarity with LOTO and Electrical Safety principles.
• Proficiency in using standard business software; experience with SCADA and CMMS is highly recommended.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Knowledge of applicable safety and environmental regulations.
• Strong technical hands-on abilities and a disciplined work ethic.
• Must be based in or able to work in Bakersfield, CA.
