Senior Director, Organisational Resilience (Telecommunications)

Location: NSW, Australia; hybrid arrangement with three days in the office and two days remote or from home

What you will do

• Lead and enhance enterprise crisis management and business continuity frameworks.
• Oversee business impact analysis and continuity planning across the organisation.
• Drive crisis and emergency preparedness through simulations, exercises, and executive rehearsals.
• Provide strategic resilience advice and leadership during significant incidents and crisis events.
• Monitor organisational resilience maturity and support compliance with critical infrastructure requirements.
• Lead training, awareness, lessons-learned reviews, and continuous improvement programs.

Requirements

• 10–15+ years of experience in business continuity, crisis management, resilience, risk, or related disciplines within large, complex organisations.
• Experience in regulated industries or critical infrastructure environments.
• Deep knowledge of business continuity management, disaster recovery, risk management, and enterprise resilience frameworks.
• Strong executive stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
• Demonstrated success leading crisis response activities and resilience programs.
• Degree in Business, Risk Management, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
