Operations Manager (IoT Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite at the manufacturing facility in Escondido, California, Monday–Friday

Salary: $125,000–$142,000 yearly

What you will do

• Lead manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, fulfillment, and electronic product assembly operations.
• Set production schedules, staffing plans, resource allocation, and operational strategies.
• Monitor safety, quality, delivery, productivity, throughput, labor, scrap, downtime, and cost KPIs.
• Optimize receiving, storage, inventory control, shipping, fulfillment, warehouse layout, material flow, freight, and transportation.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance on new product introductions, process improvements, equipment reliability, and downtime reduction.
• Supervise, coach, and develop 15+ direct reports while promoting safety, accountability, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse operations, supply chain, logistics, or related operations.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience managing production, warehouse, or multifunctional operations teams.
• Experience with end-to-end operations, suppliers, inventory, fulfillment, ERP, and/or WMS.
• Working knowledge of electronics manufacturing, electronic assembly, testing, quality control, electromechanical or electronic products, schematics, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation.
• Strong leadership, team development, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement capabilities.

Nice to have

• Experience leading Lean or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience in electronic, electromechanical, IoT, water technology, or connected-device manufacturing.
• Familiarity with PCB assemblies, sensors, controllers, low-voltage electronics, ESD controls, electronic quality systems, and failure analysis.
• Experience supporting NPI for electronic or smart-device products.
