Manager Sales - Industrial Products (Logistics): Leading sales strategies and customer relationship management for the chemical and plastics sector with an accent on supply chain optimization and market expansion. Location: Must be based in or able to work from Houston, TX or Fort Worth, TX. This is a hybrid role with one day per week remote.
Salary: $92,000 – $135,000

What you will do
- Develop and implement sales strategies based on market analysis and economic conditions.
- Prospect for new business opportunities and engage potential customers to expand market share.
- Coordinate internal resources across departments including Service Design, Law, and Operations to support customer needs.
- Design and execute comprehensive transportation packages including equipment and value-added services.
- Manage post-sale processes to ensure successful implementation and ongoing customer satisfaction.
- Resolve complex customer inquiries and align business requirements with operational capabilities.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Rail Operations, or logistics management.
- Strong understanding of the logistics management chain and transportation industry.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in PC-based software including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Ability to travel 30-40% of the time.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Supply Chain, or Industrial Engineering.
- Master's degree.
- 7+ years of experience in sales, transportation, or logistics management.
- Knowledge of BNSF operating capabilities and interline service processes.
- Prior leadership experience.
