TL;DR

Business Development Manager (Pharmaceutical): Driving sales of analytical services to pharmaceutical and medical device companies with an accent on lead generation and relationship management. Location: Remote (Must be based within the San Francisco area for regional travel within California)

Salary: USD 105,000 - 130,000 yearly

What you will do

  • Generate leads and sales through relationship development with clients and prospects.
  • Close sales and maintain functional relationships with major accounts.
  • Secure master service agreements with prospective clients.
  • Conduct market research to assist in annual marketing and sales plans.
  • Attend industry conferences and implement marketing activities to capture leads.
  • Develop and deliver proposals to existing clients and new prospects.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree in Business, Marketing, or Life Science (Advanced degree/MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of business development experience in sales and marketing.
  • Proven experience working with pharmaceutical, medical device companies, and CDMOs.
  • Must be based within the San Francisco area.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% regionally within California.
