Product Line Lead

Location: Onsite in Buffalo, NY, at the East Aurora site; occasional travel to suppliers and other hirify.global sites is required, approximately 20%.

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 annually.

hirify.global's Actuation Systems business unit operates within the Space and Defense Group and develops solutions for aerospace and defense applications.

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional business segment professionals and coordinate procurement activities across Supply Chain Procurement and Operations.
• Act as the primary escalation point between internal customers, suppliers, and operations teams.
• Oversee purchase-order placement, delivery performance, expedites, delays, non-conformances, and past-due incoming orders.
• Update part-specific procurement strategies and DDMRP parameters, including buffer types, minimum order quantities, and safety stock.
• Plan capacity and distribute workload across Supply Specialists and Senior Supply Specialists.
• Lead internal and supplier-facing process improvement initiatives, including Manufacturing Readiness Reviews and Kaizen events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Operations, Business, Engineering, or another business or technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in Operations, Manufacturing, or Engineering, including 2 years influencing and leading cross-functional teams.
• Experience with U.S. Government contractual and regulatory requirements, including FAR/DFAR, EAR, ITAR, and related export and import regulations.
• Deep knowledge of MBS and/or SAP modules for planning, purchase-order placement, maintenance, and inventory.
• Strong analytical problem-solving, escalation management, supplier relationship, and communication skills.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance and access U.S. export-controlled information.
