What you will do

• Lead and develop buyers and purchasing professionals responsible for purchase orders, expediting, and supplier communication.
• Oversee production purchasing execution, including purchase order creation, approval, accuracy, and alignment with demand and production requirements.
• Ensure material availability by managing shortages, lead times, supplier constraints, forecasts, pull-ins, push-outs, and capacity alignment.
• Manage supplier performance for delivery, responsiveness, and execution reliability, partnering with Strategic Sourcing on escalations and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Planning, Operations, Engineering, NPI Procurement, Manufacturing, Finance, and suppliers to support production and new product introductions.
• Drive cost, working capital, process improvement, and procurement system improvements through pricing adherence, PPV management, inventory optimization, standard work, and waste elimination.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of procurement or supply chain experience, with a strong focus on production purchasing.
• Leadership experience managing teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems and supply chain planning processes.
• Experience managing supplier performance and driving execution improvements.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
