Supply Chain Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Arlington Heights, Illinois, United States

Salary: $116,000–$174,000 annual, plus bonus and/or incentive eligibility

What you will do

• Lead Supply Chain teams and manage daily operations, workload allocation, performance reviews, training, and development.
• Analyze, resolve, and escalate inventory and supply chain issues while driving continuous improvement.
• Ensure inventory plans, system parameters, and execution remain aligned with supply chain goals.
• Support internal manufacturing operations and coordinate communication across teams.
• Prepare and present projections for inventory, volume, service, planning, capacity, and space.
• Communicate supply chain and service issues to senior management with short- and long-term recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 10 years of equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing, distribution, or purchasing.
• Knowledge of MRP, buying, demand management, and forecasting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and statistical calculations.
• Ability to calculate figures and apply algebra and business statistics concepts.

Nice to have

• Experience in import logistics, inventory planning, and transportation.
• Experience hiring, developing, motivating, and directing employees.
• Experience with SAP.
