Salary: $127,000 - $165,500 Annual

What you will do

• Drive biomolecular engineering, immunology, and pharmacology efforts, including strategy and methods development.
• Construct recombinant systems encoding protein variants and combinatorial protein libraries.
• Implement high-throughput screening platforms to enable candidate selection from large panels of engineered protein variants.
• Optimize and employ tailored protein expression and purification strategies for drug discovery programs.
• Develop and deploy functional, immunological, and pharmacological assays for in vitro and in vivo protein characterization.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and present results to the research group and external scientific community.

Requirements

• PhD in molecular and cellular biology, bioengineering, biochemistry, immunology, microbiology, or related fields.
• Deep hands-on experience with molecular biology, mammalian tissue culture, recombinant DNA technology, and protein biochemistry.
• Proficiency in recombinant protein expression, purification, and characterization (spectroscopy, SDS-PAGE, western blot, ELISA).
• Experience with enzyme analysis or protein-protein binding analysis.
• Must be able to work full-time on-site in Lebanon, NH.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-throughput functional screen development for protein libraries.
• Experience with AAV viral vectors, gene editing, and in vivo rodent models.
