What you will do

• Develop and validate analytical methods for biological and small-molecule analysis.
• Perform routine laboratory testing using separation and biochemical methods.
• Manage data processing, documentation, and scientific reporting.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on laboratory instrumentation.
• Prepare reagents and ensure a safe, clean laboratory environment.
• Review scientific data and maintain electronic notebooks.

Requirements

• Ph.D. with 2 years of experience, M.S. with 5 years, or B.S. with 7 years in analytical chemistry, chemistry, or biochemistry.
• Must have hands-on experience with HPLC/UPLC (SEC, HIC, IEX, RP) or capillary electrophoresis.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States as the role is onsite in West Point, PA.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with laboratory software like Empower or 32 Carat.
• Ability to deliver complex objectives under aggressive timelines.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience with MALS, RI/UV, and CAD detection.
• Knowledge of DLS and Zeta Potential analysis.
• Experience in small-molecule (lipid) or biologic (protein/mRNA) analysis.
