Immunology Senior Research Scientist (Single-Cell Genomics)

Location: On-site in Seattle, WA (5 days per week)

Salary: $124,200 - $186,400

What you will do

• Execute end-to-end single-cell genomics and multi-omics workflows, including tissue dissociation, cell isolation, and library preparation.
• Troubleshoot and optimize 10x Chromium assays to ensure high-quality data, reproducibility, and efficient cell recovery.
• Collaborate with bioinformatics and computational teams to interpret complex datasets and derive biologically meaningful insights.
• Maintain rigorous experimental standards, documentation, and SOPs for all wet-lab activities.
• Coordinate with internal core groups and external vendors for sequencing and run tracking.

Requirements

• PhD in Genomics, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, or related discipline with 2+ years of experience (or Master’s with 6+ years, or Bachelor’s with 8+ years).
• Deep hands-on expertise in single-cell genomics workflows, specifically 10x Genomics platforms.
• Strong wet-lab background in NGS library preparation and complex sample processing.
• Demonstrated ability to independently design, execute, and troubleshoot sophisticated experiments.
• Must be able to work on-site in Seattle, WA, five days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with downstream computational analysis of single-cell datasets.
• Familiarity with flow cytometry and cell sorting activities.
• Experience with emerging modalities such as multiome and CITE-seq.
