Project Analyst (6 Month FTC)

What you will do

• Analyse operational cost drivers and connect financial data with business activities and processes.
• Develop and refine Cost to Serve models to improve visibility of process-level costs.
• Work with Operations, Finance, and the Data Centre of Excellence to gather, structure, and validate activity-based data.
• Identify trends, anomalies, manual effort, and inefficiencies across operational processes.
• Quantify potential benefits from process improvements, automation, and re-engineering initiatives.
• Improve data quality, documentation, consistency, and analytical approaches for business cases and decision-making.

Requirements

• Strong interest in finance, data, and the relationship between operational processes and cost.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to interrogate large datasets.
• Confidence using Excel, including lookups and basic modelling.
• Ability to work with financial and non-financial stakeholders and communicate findings clearly.
• Strong organisational skills, a proactive approach, and willingness to improve existing processes.
• Exposure to process mapping, operational analysis, activity-based costing, or structured finance and operational data.
