Projects Finance Manager (Power T&D)

Location: Warrington, United Kingdom; regular travel to project sites is required.

What you will do

• Prepare End Life, rolling, and annual project forecasts and present financial insights to stakeholders.
• Investigate project cost, revenue, and cash variances and define corrective actions.
• Manage cash collection, applications, invoicing, unbilled project amounts, and cost-to-bill conversions.
• Ensure accurate project cost accruals, provisions, and allocations across the Cost/Work Breakdown Structure.
• Lead end-to-end project accounting and prepare month-end reports covering P&L, receivables, unbilled amounts, and backlog.
• Support financial compliance, risk reviews, audits, performance tracking, and improvement plans.

Requirements

• Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent accountant.
• At least three years of post-qualification experience in a senior finance role.
• Experience with management accounts, forecasting systems, project costings, cash management, and month-end reporting.
• Strong stakeholder management, commercial awareness, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability and willingness to travel to various project sites in the United Kingdom.
