Senior Finance Analyst (FTC until March 2028)

What you will do

• Prepare and post month-end journals, accruals, payroll entries and cost allocations.
• Produce financial reports and explain performance, P&L movements and variances to stakeholders.
• Manage intercompany invoices, fund recharges, journals and reconciliations.
• Prepare VAT packs and support finance and tax queries for European entities.
• Complete balance-sheet reconciliations, resolve aged items and process supplier, employee and intercompany payments with a clear audit trail.
• Maintain headcount and cost-centre data while improving finance processes, controls and ways of working.

Requirements

• AAT qualified, part-qualified or studying towards a recognised accounting qualification.
• Sound understanding of accounting processes and principles.
• Strong Excel skills, including practical experience with lookup functions.
• Experience contributing to month-end activity and meeting financial deadlines.
• Clear communication skills, stakeholder relationship-building ability and confidence explaining financial information.
• Collaborative approach, attention to detail and resilience.

Nice to have

• Experience with accounting systems or financial services.
