What you will do
- Build successful relationships with clients in the assigned territory to provide technical and business value.
- Lead hands-on evaluations and Spark programming to demonstrate platform capabilities and integrate with cloud ecosystems.
- Act as a Big Data Analytics advisor on system architecture and design.
- Author reference architectures, how-to guides, and demo applications to support customers.
- Contribute to the technical community through workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
Requirements
- Background in Data Science, Generative AI, or Machine Learning (Data Warehousing or Engineering also considered).
- Proven experience in technical customer-facing roles, specifically in pre-sales or post-sales.
- Proficiency in a core programming language such as PySpark, Python, Java, or Scala.
- Knowledge of a major public cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Ability to identify customer pain points and deliver technical propositions independently.
- Must be based in London or surrounding areas for UK site visits.
