What you will do
- Lead the design, coordination, and delivery of electrical systems for mission-critical data center projects.
- Perform complex engineering calculations and oversee the preparation of design documents.
- Manage project scopes, fast-track schedules, and multi-phase builds while ensuring quality and precision.
- Mentor junior staff and provide technical leadership within the electrical discipline.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure constructability and integration with mechanical/cooling systems.
- Support business development activities and maintain a client-centric approach.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience in electrical engineering within the MEP or construction industry.
- Strong emphasis on mission-critical and data center projects, including power distribution and redundancy.
- Advanced proficiency in electrical design codes, standards, and mission-critical best practices (e.g., NEC).
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and SKM/ETAP.
Nice to have
- Industry certifications such as RCDD, NICET, CPD, LEED, or WELL.
- Experience with commissioning and complex backup power systems.
