Engineering Director (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Lead and develop engineering teams across functional areas including supply chain, quality, and customer service.
• Recruit and deploy qualified engineering resources to meet customer project requirements.
• Prepare commercial proposals, Statements of Work (SOW), and quotations.
• Provide hands-on technical support for system assembly, integration, and troubleshooting.
• Resolve conflicts and communication issues between customers and internal teams.
• Report business status, project progress, and manpower deployment to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience in engineering, operations, or manufacturing.
• Proven experience leading and developing teams.
• Strong hands-on experience in semiconductor equipment or complex hardware assembly.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in high-tech manufacturing or complex equipment assembly environments.
• Experience with Taiwan-based manufacturing and outsourcing partnerships.
