Location: Remote (currently); future transition to an on-site location on the U.S. East-Coast/Mid-West is required by 2027. Travel: 25-30% to EMEA and NA.

Salary: $198,900 – $232,050

What you will do

• Lead operational readiness activities, including operating model development, staffing plans, and training strategy.
• Define the future manufacturing organization, workforce planning, and governance processes.
• Serve as the primary Operations representative during facility and process design to ensure requirements are integrated into equipment and automation.
• Partner with Engineering, MSAT, Quality, Automation, and EHS teams throughout project execution.
• Ensure GMP compliance through commissioning, qualification, validation, and inspection preparedness.
• Manage technology transfer, process implementation, and product introduction for small molecule manufacturing programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related; advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years of leadership experience in pharmaceutical or API manufacturing.
• Experience with HPAPI, complex chemical synthesis, or leading greenfield/brownfield capital projects.
• Strong knowledge of GMP manufacturing, regulatory expectations, and process safety principles.
• Ability and willingness to transition to an East Coast or Midwest U.S. site location as project needs evolve.
• Willingness and ability to travel to EMEA and NA approximately 25-30% of the time.
