Operational Training Manager (Warehouse)

Location: Must be based in Laredo, TX, United States (On-site role).

What you will do

• Partner with HR and staffing providers to manage the end-to-end onboarding process, including interviews and facility tours.
• Develop and maintain role-specific training plans, checklists, and readiness criteria for warehouse associates.
• Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency across shifts and buildings.
• Manage the 30/60/90-day feedback cadence with contractor providers to monitor performance and role fit.
• Identify training gaps and lead refresher sessions regarding safety, process changes, or quality issues.
• Ensure new hires are fully trained and signed off on critical SOPs before transitioning to operational supervisors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be based in Laredo, TX and able to work on-site.
• Proven experience in creating SOPs, training documentation, and process guides.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with Operations, HR, and external staffing vendors.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency is strongly preferred.
• Deep understanding of operational environments such as 3PLs, cross-docks, or distribution centers.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience navigating warehouse technology ecosystems (WMS, TMS, YMS).
• Prior ownership of safety training coordination and equipment licensing (PIT/forklift).
