TL;DR

Senior Manager, Account Management (SaaS): Leading and scaling the Account Management team to drive customer expansion, renewals, and overall account health for high-value B2B clients. Focus on building high-performing teams, refining post-sales strategies, and partnering cross-functionally to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Chicago, IL for a hybrid work model (in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).

Compensation: $236,000 – $262,000 (On Target Earnings).

What you will do

  • Lead and coach a high-performing team of Account Managers focused on customer outcomes and business growth.
  • Develop strategies to mature account books into expansion opportunities.
  • Partner with leadership to define team KPIs, roles, responsibilities, and operating rhythms.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Revenue Operations to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Take accountability for renewal, expansion, and overall commercial success across the portfolio.
  • Help structure the Existing Business team by integrating Account Managers with Customer Success Managers.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience leading Account Management, Sales, or Renewals teams in a SaaS environment.
  • Proven track record of developing and leading AM functions from the ground up.
  • Experience with commercial tasks including enterprise-level renewal negotiation, upselling, and cross-selling.
  • Strong coaching and people leadership skills with a focus on accountability and growth.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to use metrics to guide decisions and demonstrate impact.
  • Excellent collaboration skills to drive shared outcomes across Sales, Product, and CS teams.

Nice to have

  • Experience with support or CX platforms.
  • Familiarity with usage-based or product-led growth models.
  • Background working with mid-market and enterprise customers.
