What you will do

• Provide engineering leadership for chemical and gas systems to ensure safety, reliability, and quality.
• Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance for vacuum pumps and abatement systems.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures while ensuring regulatory and safety compliance.
• Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve system performance issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize systems for manufacturing requirements.
• Manage project scopes, bid proposals, and equipment commissioning to meet budget and schedule targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience (or 2+ years with a Master's degree).
• Knowledge of regulatory and safety compliance for hazardous process gases and emissions control.
• Experience in vacuum system performance analysis, abatement integration, or project management.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without hirify.global immigration sponsorship.
• Must be able to work on-site in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Nice to have

• Experience with chemical compatibility assessment for corrosive or pyrophoric chemistries.
• Familiarity with SEMI standards.
• Proficiency in vacuum system design (dry pump, turbomolecular, or roots blower technologies).
• Experience with thermal, wet, or plasma-based abatement systems.
