What you will do

• Lead facility engineering for new tool installations, capacity expansions, and utility infrastructure upgrades.
• Serve as the technical owner for toxic gas distribution, gas cabinets, valve manifold boxes (VMBs), and hazardous exhaust systems.
• Develop utility capacity models and long-range infrastructure plans to support fab growth and technology roadmaps.
• Maintain and update facility utility maps, P&IDs, system schematics, and CAD drawings to ensure accurate as-built documentation.
• Manage toxic gas monitoring systems, associated alarms, and participate in Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) and Management of Change (MOC) activities.
• Drive reliability improvement initiatives and lead root-cause investigations for utility interruptions or safety incidents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Facilities Engineering with 5-8 years of professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience supporting 200mm or 300mm semiconductor wafer fabrication facilities.
• Expertise with toxic gas distribution, hazardous exhaust systems, and gas monitoring infrastructure.
• Strong ability to interpret and develop P&IDs, utility schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of SEMI standards (specifically SEMI S2) and semiconductor facility safety practices.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Bloomington, MN, US.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent technical certification.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or Bluebeam.
