Location: Must reside within 50 miles of Anchorage, Alaska

What you will do

  • Provide expert-level technical support via phone, email, and chat for internal and external customers.
  • Mentor and support junior technicians, assigning tasks and providing guidance on complex escalations.
  • Monitor network alerts and proactively manage incident response and service requests.
  • Coordinate maintenance and installation activities while ensuring adherence to department procedures.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for server, network, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
  • Document technical processes and maintain accurate records in the company database.

Requirements

  • Must reside within 50 miles of Anchorage, Alaska.
  • Minimum of five years of combined experience in technical customer service, helpdesk, or LAN/WAN networking.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Advanced understanding of Information Technology and mainstream operating systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical activities to customers.
  • Ability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays as required by a 24/7 environment.

Nice to have

  • Associate degree in telecommunications, computer science, or electronics.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft, ITIL, CompTIA, or Cisco.
  • Experience with video conferencing technology and wireless access point troubleshooting.
