Sr. Network Engineer (Cisco/SDN): Designing, implementing, and troubleshooting enterprise LAN/WAN and Software-Defined Networking (SDN) solutions for enterprise customers with an accent on Cisco technology tracks, SD-WAN, and campus fabric architectures. Focus on leading complex multi-site deployments, executing WAN migrations, and integrating next-generation network security.

Location: Remote - Texas. U.S. Citizenship Required. Up to 50% travel to customer and partner sites within the U.S.

What you will do

• Design and implement complex enterprise LAN/WAN solutions using traditional routed/switched infrastructure and modern SDN architectures.
• Lead SD-WAN deployments, including controller onboarding, zero-touch provisioning, policy development, and QoS configuration.
• Deploy SD-Access campus fabric solutions including policy-based segmentation and network access control integration.
• Execute WAN circuit migrations (e.g., MPLS to SD-WAN) and campus LAN modernization projects.
• Support and troubleshoot multi-vendor environments with a primary focus on Cisco platforms.
• Collaborate on statements of work (SOW) and level of effort (LOE) estimates for the Modern Infrastructure practice.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise LAN/WAN design and professional services.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Professional-level networking certification (CCNP Enterprise preferred; CCIE strongly preferred).
• Deep expertise in BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and enterprise routing/switching platforms (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, HPE).
• Hands-on experience with at least one SDN platform spanning WAN, campus, or branch domains.
• Ability and availability to travel up to 50% via plane and car for extended periods.

Nice to have

• Top Secret security clearance.
• Experience with network programmability and automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
• Knowledge of SASE and cloud-delivered security architectures (Zscaler, Cisco Umbrella, Palo Alto Prisma).
• Experience with cloud network connectivity (AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, GCP Interconnect).
