What you will do

• Measure the biodistribution, pharmacokinetics, and efficacy of reprogramming medicines using molecular assays and advanced genomics methods.
• Design and execute experiments involving the isolation, culture, and processing of cells, tissues, and organs for molecular profiling.
• Collaborate with the Epigenetic Editing team on large-scale single-cell perturbation experiments using custom chemistries.
• Perform single-cell profiling experiments to map epigenetic features of age-related disease and evaluate interventions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in cell biology, molecular biology, or a related natural science, or equivalent industry experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a cell or molecular biology laboratory in an academic or industry setting.
• Experience with nucleic acid extraction, qPCR, ELISA, NGS library construction, library quantification, and quality control.
• Experience with necropsy, organ and tissue collection, primary tissue dissociation, mammalian cell culture, single-cell suspension preparation, nuclei isolation, fixation, and sample processing.

Nice to have

• Experience with in vivo animal handling.
• Experience with single-cell genomics methods such as 10x Genomics, Parse Bio, Perturb-seq, or CROProp-seq.
• Experience troubleshooting or optimizing NGS workflows.
• Experience with flow cytometry sorting for single-cell preparations.
