TL;DR

Enterprise Account Executive (GovTech): Driving new business growth and expanding market presence within the public sector with an accent on territory strategy and consultative sales. Location: Must be based in Texas or Kansas, with up to 20% travel required for client meetings and industry events.

What you will do

  • Identify, engage, and close net-new municipal clients across assigned territories.
  • Develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders across local government agencies.
  • Partner with sales leadership and marketing to execute targeted account plans and pipeline strategies.
  • Lead consultative sales cycles to diagnose client challenges and position software solutions.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data and forecasting within Salesforce.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and presentations to represent the company.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of sales experience, preferably within the governmental or related software space.
  • Proven history of prospecting, territory planning, and cold-calling.
  • Demonstrated track record of surpassing sales quotas.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Must be based in Texas or Kansas to manage the assigned territory effectively.
