TL;DR
Senior Product Manager (Growth): Owning the PLG funnel end-to-end to drive activation and conversion with an accent on data-driven experimentation across web, CLI, and VS Code surfaces. Focus on identifying high-leverage drop-off points, designing A/B tests, and optimizing the user journey for technical audiences.
Location: Must be based in or able to work from San Francisco (Hybrid)
Compensation: $175,000 – $215,000 + Equity

What you will do
- Own the PLG funnel end-to-end, including activation, onboarding, and trial-to-paid conversion.
- Identify and fix high-leverage drop-off points through rigorous funnel analysis.
- Build and execute a continuous experimentation program using A/B testing and clear hypothesis-driven readouts.
- Optimize user experiences across web, CLI, and VS Code surfaces.
- Improve onboarding flows for non-primary providers like GitLab.
- Partner with engineering to ensure accurate event instrumentation and metric tracking.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of experience in product management with a focus on growth or PLG funnels.
- Proven track record of measurable funnel wins, including conversion and activation improvements.
- Strong quantitative skills with proficiency in SQL and analytics tools like Amplitude or Mixpanel.
- Deep understanding of experimentation rigor and statistical significance.
- Developer-product sensibility with an understanding of CLI, IDE, and web user behaviors.
- Strong written communication and ability to drive cross-functional work without direct authority.
Nice to have
- Experience with developer tools or technical audiences.
- Familiarity with bottoms-up SaaS motions and self-serve to sales-assist handoffs.
- Exposure to AI or code-adjacent products.
